1) Who we are

Redbridge Tuition (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides tuition services, mock exams, courses, and educational resources online and in-centre. For enquiries: hello@redbridgetuition.co.uk | www.redbridgetuition.co.uk/contact

These Terms apply to your use of our website and to purchases and bookings made through it. Service-specific terms for tuition, mocks/courses, and shop purchases form part of these Terms.

2) Using our website

  • You must use the site lawfully and not disrupt or try to gain unauthorised access to any part of it.

  • All content (text, graphics, logos, downloads) is our intellectual property or used with permission. You may not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without written consent.

  • We may link to third-party sites; we’re not responsible for their content or policies.

  • We may update or withdraw parts of the site without notice.

3) Privacy, data and recordings

We process personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details. Sessions may be recorded for safety, training and promotional purposes; we do not share recordings with unrelated third parties unless required by law. 

4) Tuition services (in-centre and online)

Enrolment & payment

  • An active Direct Debit mandate and a signed agreement are required before attending any session. Fees are paid monthly in advance on the 1st by subscription. First month is pro-rata from your first scheduled session to the month-end; the regular subscription then starts on the 1st. 

  • Late or failed payments incur a £25 fee, and services may be suspended until the account is settled. Sessions already attended remain chargeable. If an account remains unpaid after reminders, we may refer it to a third-party debt recovery service and recover reasonable costs as permitted by law. Your statutory rights are not affected. 

Cancellations or changes

  • To cancel or change your package, email us by the 15th of the month; changes take effect from the 1st of the next month. (E.g., email by 15 March → change from 1 April; email on 16 March → change from 1 May.) Cancellations can’t be backdated. 

Sessions, attendance & make-ups

  • Please ensure punctual drop-off/pick-up and let us know about absences.

  • Give 48 hours’ notice to request a make-up session (subject to availability). Make-ups must be taken within 7 days; otherwise, we will provide self-study materials. Make-ups are not credits or refunds. 

Homework, assessments & feedback

  • Please oversee homework completion and ensure it’s brought to the next session. We review work, address misconceptions and run periodic progress tests; verbal feedback is provided, and more detailed feedback is available on request. 

Closures & force majeure

  • Planned holiday breaks and public/bank holidays are included in the subscription calendar. If we have to close unexpectedly (e.g., severe weather), we will deliver sessions online or reschedule; refunds are not provided where the session is delivered in these ways. 

Behaviour & property

  • We expect respectful behaviour. Parents are liable for repair costs if their child damages the centre property. 

We support academic progress but cannot guarantee any particular exam outcome or grade. 

5) Mock exams & courses (holiday courses, intensives, workshops)

  • Non-refundable: All mock exams and course bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed, except where we are required to offer a remedy by law.

  • If we significantly change a date/time or cancel, we will offer an alternative sitting or a refund for the affected booking.

  • Please arrive punctually and follow venue rules; late arrival may reduce your time window.

6) Shop: books & digital downloads

Orders & pricing

  • Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.

Delivery/fulfilment

  • Books: dispatched via the method shown at checkout.

  • Digital downloads: supplied by an immediate download link/email. By purchasing, you consent to the immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that your right to cancel ends when the download begins (as permitted by UK consumer law).

Returns & refunds

  • Digital downloads: No returns or refunds after download unless the file is defective or misdescribed; we will repair/replace or refund if we cannot remedy the issue.

  • Books: We do not accept returns for books once dispatched unless damaged, defective or misdescribed on arrival, in which case please contact us within 14 days with evidence so we can replace or refund as appropriate.

  • This does not affect your statutory rights.

7) Discounts, trials and promotions

  • Any free tasters, discounts, coupons or promotions are subject to stated eligibility criteria and dates, and can be withdrawn or amended at our discretion. They can’t be exchanged for cash or combined unless explicitly allowed.

8) Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited.

  • Subject to that, we are not liable for: loss not caused by our breach; business losses (including loss of profit, revenue or goodwill); or events outside our reasonable control. Tuition outcomes depend on many factors, including attendance, engagement and prior attainment.

9) Complaints

Please raise concerns with us as soon as possible via email so we can investigate and respond promptly. 

10) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes apply from publication on the website; for enrolled families, we will give reasonable notice where a change is material.

11) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
