Choose the right 11+ practice book
Our resources are written in-house by subject specialists who teach these topics. Choose a book around the skill your child needs to develop, then check its sample pages and available formats before buying.
Learn the reasoning methods
Start with Verbal Reasoning Book 1 for explanations and word-based reasoning practice, or Non-Verbal Reasoning Book 1 for an introduction to reasoning with shapes.
Build fluency through further practice
Once the methods are secure, explore Verbal Reasoning Book 2 or Non-Verbal Reasoning Book 2. These extend the work from Book 1; choose according to understanding and confidence.
Focus on a specific skill
- Vocabulary Book 1: vocabulary in context, with tests and review exercises.
- Cloze Book 1: multiple choice, word bank and missing-letter passages.
- 3D & Spatial Papers: plan views, elevations, compound shapes and cube nets, with four practice papers and mark schemes.
