About the GCSE Maths Holiday Course
Elements such as exam techniques and timing often don’t get the attention they require.
Our intensive three-day exam courses are designed to help students consolidate their knowledge and hone exam skills.
Past paper questions will be used to show students how to approach and tackle exam questions and identify areas of weakness to work on.
All the following key areas of the GCSE specification will be covered:
1. Number
2. Algebra
3. Ratio and Proportion
4. Geometry and Measure
5. Probability and Statistics
Techniques for solving “long answer” questions will also be discussed in length. In particular, our mathematics tutor, Suhridh, will show students how to reduce difficult problems into a series of simpler sub-problems.
The topics covered throughout the course are universal to all exam boards and therefore the course is suitable for all students.
Students will be given a pack of past paper questions, mark schemes/worked solutions and tips and tricks.

The Holiday Course runs from 10 am – 2 pm and lasts 3 days
